Knights Earn Postseason Honors

Three North Platte Community College Men's Basketball players received postseason honors for their play during the 2007 - 2008 campaign.

Joseph Odugbela, a sophomore from Providence, Rhode Island, was voted by the coaches as the Most Valuable Player of the Nebraska Community Collge Athletic Conference.  In addition to that distinction Joseph was also named to the All-Region IX team. He becomes the 24th Knight to receive that honor.  Joseph was also named Honorary Captain of the Omaha World-Herald All Nebraska Junior College Team.  He finished his career at North Platte Community College as the 20th all time leading scorer.

Eugente Bain, a freshman from New Providence, Bahamas was named to the All NCCAC First Team and was also named to the Omaha World-Herald All Nebraska Junior College First team.

Eugene Parker, a sophomore from Macon, Georgia, was Honorable Mention on the the All NCCAC team and Honorable Mention on the Omaha World Herald All Nebraska Junior College team.

Coach Kevin O'Connor was named Coach of the Year of the NCCAC and Region IX East Sub-region.
